In the late '90s Balázs's family is falling apart front of his brand new VHS camera he got for his 8th birthday.

Handycam for Balázs (Balázs kamerája) (2018) is a short fiction film on the boundaries of experimental film and documentary. The concept of this project was to achieve a strong connection between format, story and dramaturgy by creating a fake home video from the 90's. The real challange was to discover our own, special kind of visual language during writing, shooting and post pruduction as well. Handycam for Balázs is also my thesis film closing my BA studies on ELTE's Department of Film Studies.

After a year of exclusive film festival sreenings, our film is finally avaible online to the public.
